Well, you see, this thing called horoscope, folks are always askin’ if it’s demonic or whatnot. Now, I ain’t no scholar or nothin’, but I can tell ya plain and simple like it is. People read them stars, try to figure out their future or what kinda person they are, but in my mind, all that don’t sit right. Why? Well, lemme tell ya, it goes against what’s written in the Bible, and that’s just the truth of it.
Ya see, in them holy scriptures, it says we ain’t supposed to be lookin’ to the heavens for answers like that. Them stars up there, them planets, they don’t got no power. Only the Good Lord has power like that. I reckon when folks put their faith in them horoscopes, they’re chasin’ after somethin’ that ain’t right. It’s like tryin’ to find answers in places where God didn’t tell us to look.
Now, why folks think horoscopes are bad?
Well, first off, the Bible’s pretty clear on this. It says in Deuteronomy 18:10-14 that we ain’t supposed to be messin’ with divination or star-gazin’. That’s God’s word, plain and simple. He told the children of Israel not to worship or serve the “host of heaven,” which is just a fancy way of sayin’ them stars and planets. But you know people, they didn’t always listen. Israel done fell into that sin a few times, worshippin’ the stars instead of the Lord. That’s a real bad thing if you ask me.
What’s astrology got to do with all this?
Astrology, well, that’s the practice of lookin’ at them stars and planets to try and predict the future or figure out folks’ personalities. People think that the position of the stars when they were born somehow tells them who they are or what’s gonna happen in their life. But from what I understand, there’s no scientific proof for all that. It’s just folks playin’ games with somethin’ that ain’t true.
Believin’ in horoscopes is like givin’ the stars a power they don’t got. That’s dangerous ground, folks. The Bible says in Exodus 20:3 that we ain’t supposed to have no other gods before the one true God. But when folks follow horoscopes, it’s like they’re lettin’ them stars be a god to them, tellin’ ‘em what to do, how to think, and what’s gonna happen. That’s just not right.
But are horoscopes demonic?
Now, I’m just a simple woman, but from what I hear, callin’ horoscopes demonic might be a strong word, but it sure ain’t far from the truth. You see, anything that takes our eyes off the Lord and puts ‘em on somethin’ else, that’s a problem. The devil’s a sneaky one, and he’ll use anythin’ to pull us away from God, even somethin’ as harmless-seemin’ as a horoscope. I reckon that’s where folks get the idea that horoscopes could be demonic. They lead people down a path away from the truth.
What the Bible says ’bout false gods
Now, in Matthew 24:24, it says false prophets are gonna rise up and deceive a whole lot of people. That’s kinda what happens with astrology, ain’t it? People are led astray, believin’ in somethin’ that ain’t got no truth to it. The Bible don’t give no authority to the stars or to astrologers. In fact, it says chasin’ after false gods is a sin, and that’s exactly what folks are doin’ when they put their faith in horoscopes instead of the Lord.
So, to answer the question, is horoscope demonic? Well, it sure leads people away from God, and anything that does that is dangerous. I reckon it’s not somethin’ to mess with. Best to put your faith in the Lord and His word, not in some stars that can’t tell ya nothin’ worth knowin’.
Conclusion
In the end, horoscopes ain’t somethin’ we should be trustin’. They ain’t got no truth to ‘em, and they sure don’t come from God. The Good Book tells us where to look for guidance, and it ain’t in the stars. Them stars are just there to light up the night, not to tell us our future. So, if you ask me, it’s best to stay away from all that and keep your eyes on the Lord instead.
